Rough note value estimator

Enter your note's numbers and a yield to test. The tool works out what the remaining payments are worth at that yield. Nothing is sent until you submit a review request.

How to read this

This is a rough estimate based only on the numbers you enter. It is not an offer, an appraisal, or a statement of market rates. Real offers depend on payment history, the property, the borrower, the paperwork and buyer demand, and they can be higher or lower. The yield is a number you pick to see how the value changes. We don't suggest one.

How it works

How it works in three steps: 1, tell us about the note with a few quick questions and no documents or account numbers; 2, your note gets reviewed by note buyers with your consent; 3, compare any offers side by side and decide, selling is your choice
  1. Tell us about the note

Four quick questions, then a few optional details. No documents or sensitive numbers.

  2. Your note gets reviewed

If you consent, your request goes to our affiliate. They check whether the note fits buyers and what buyers would want.

  3. Compare and decide

If buyers are interested, compare the full terms: price, timing, conditions, full or partial. Selling is always your choice.

  • Rate and time left: the size and length of the payment stream
  • Lien position: first lien or second
  • The borrower: credit and stability
  • Paperwork: complete, signed and recorded

Questions people ask

Do you buy notes?

No. CashForMyNote.com is an information and referral site. If you request a review and give consent, we share your request with our affiliate so note buyers can look at your note. You decide whether to accept any offer.

What is my note worth?

It's usually the present value of the payments still owed, at a yield that fits the risk. That's often below the unpaid balance. Try the estimator above with your own numbers. Then request a review to get offers from note buyers.

Can I sell just part of my payments?

Often, yes. In a partial sale, a buyer pays for a set number of upcoming payments. The payments after that come back to you. Mention it in your request.

What information do I need to start?

Just the basics: note type, property state, rough balance and payment status. More detail helps: rate, payment and time left. Never send Social Security or account numbers through the form.

Is there any obligation?

No. Requesting a review doesn't commit you to sell. You can stop at any point.

How long does a note sale take?

It depends on the note, the paperwork and the buyer's checks. We don't promise a timeline. Having your documents ready helps.

What is a note broker?

A note broker connects people who hold notes with investors who buy them. The broker gathers the details and shows the note to buyers who fit. Then the broker helps you compare offers. Brokers usually don't buy the note themselves.

Is the estimator result an offer?

No. It's your own math, based only on the numbers you type, and it sends nothing. Real offers come only after a buyer reviews the note.

Who will contact me?
